COVID-19: Do not postpone your bush career!!!

As each of us navigates the impact of COVID-19 on our lives, we at ABT will ensure that there's no  need for our students to put their studies on hold or postpone any dreams of working in the African bush...

To help our students get through this difficult time, we’re launching part-time and distance learning options on selected courses (FGASA Apprentice Field Guide, Game Lodge Management, Veld/Wildlife Management etc.), allowing students the opportunity to continue studying from the safety and comfort of their own homes.

During the 'home-study' period, ABT teachers and instructors will interact with students on a regular and controlled basis by way of direct streaming, tutorial videos, audio files, quizzes, online tests and a host of other resources essential to the learning process!

Part-time and Distance Learning students will then have the opportunity to apply at a later stage for the practical components of the various courses which will include the essential contact training, exams and assessments needed to complete the qualifications.

The ABT principle, Mr. Johann Jurgens: "This is no time to lie down with the rest of the world...use the time to study and acquire the qualifications you desire and deserve, and after COVID-19..go spread your wings and fly!!!

  1. I have started the online course you recommended last year with Wild Life Campus for the FGASA field guide - I've still got a lot to get through, but wondered if this is still applicable? Thanks, Michaela
