INTRODUCTION
 
BLENDED LEARNING have received accelerated traction globally as the most effective way of delivering high-quality education that prepares students for the world of work while still giving them a campus experience.

ABT has adopted a course delivery model which makes use of traditional distance learning methodologies supplemented by regular online and technology-supported contact sessions and activities. This model has secured a place on the African continent for AFRICAN BUSH TRAINING (ABT) as a leader in the use of a technology-enhanced learning models.

World-wide research has revealed that students who are exposed to a blended learning approach outperform students who work in an online only environment. ABT's retention, success and completion rates for these courses are some of the most highly rated Africa. Getting the learning mix and balance right is very important!!! AFRICANBUSH TRAINING (ABT) has chosen to create blended 　teaching and learning opportunities by going beyond the classroom. This is in line with the practices of the best universities globally. WHAT IS I-LEARN?
I-LEARN is a blended learning division of African Bush Training. The blended learning initiative combines online studies and distance learning, with regular tutor assistance, live streaming of lectures, voice broadcasts, panel discussions & interactive field trips. 　This offers the ideal study opportunity for our learners as they have the flexibility to study when, where and as they have the time. Unlike other online platforms, I-LEARN allows for monitoring of learners, and checking on their progress daily, with weekly progress reports sent to learners or their sponsors/employers.

Where applicable; the venue, dates and times for practical contact sessions with trainers, assessors and moderators are scheduled in advance and does not implicate long periods out of the workplace as it can be conducted at one of the ABT training campuses or in-house at the student’s place of work.

LEARNER SUPPORT:
Students may contact the ABT lecturers and mentors at any time for study assistance by using any one of our 　‘Student Support" platforms. 　We are available 24/7 to address questions, provide study support and monitor student progress throughout the duration of the courses...
