2-YEAR COURSE STRUCTURE

FIRST YEAR: TERM ONE: 3 Months CERTIFICATES: FGASA Apprentice Field Guide (NQF2), Environmental Education, Bush Craft & Survival, Wildlife Photography, Wilderness Tracks & Signs and Advanced Birds Birding

TERM TWO: 3 Months CERTIFICATES: Accommodation Services, Professional Cookery & Kitchen Operations, Hospitality Reception, Food & Beverage Services, Function Management/Coordination, and Customer Service/Guest Relations.

TERM THREE: 3 months People Management /Team Leadership, Advanced Communication, Inter-personal Skills, Business Marketing TERM FIVE: 3 Months CERTIFICATES: Wildlife Management, Wilderness Protection (Anti-poaching), Field Ranger Training, Game Breeding, Wildlife Rehabilitation & Conservation Action Planning

SECOND YEAR: 12 Months Experiential Volunteer/Work Placement.
