I N T R O D U C T I O N
 
World-wide research has revealed that students who are exposed to a blended learning approach outperform students who work in an online only environment. ABT's retention, success and completion rates for our distance learning courses are some of the most highly rated in Africa. Getting the learning mix and balance right is very important!!! AFRICAN BUSH TRAINING (ABT) has chosen to create blended 　teaching and learning opportunities by going beyond the classroom’. This is in line with the practices of the best universities globally. WHAT IS I-LEARN?
 
I-LEARN ONLINE is a blended learning division of African Bush Training. The blended learning initiative combines online studies and distance learning, with interactive tutor assistance, live streaming of lectures, voice broadcasts, panel discussions & virtual field trips. 　This offers the ideal study opportunity for our learners as they have the flexibility to study when, where and as they have the time. Unlike other online platforms, I-LEARN ONLINE allows for monitoring of learners, and checking on their progress daily, with weekly progress reports sent to learners or their sponsors/employers. 　Where applicable; the venue and dates for practical contact sessions with trainers, assessors and moderators are scheduled in advance and does not necessarily have to implicate long and expensive periods away from home or out of the workplace.
 
 
ENROL & PAY
 
After enrolment and payment on the ABT platform, what happens next?
Students will receive an email from ABT at least 7　days prior to 　the programme due date, providing them with their unique online schedule and personal access codes/ links to enter the ABT online classroom on the allocated days.
 
 
STUDENT ADMISSION
 
Similar to our contact training courses, we have an application and admission process in place for our online programmes to ensure a diverse and motivated group of participants for a rich learning experience. It is important for all participants that the programme brings together students with a shared level of interest, enthusiasm and commitment towards the subject matter.
 
 
DATES & DELIVERY
 
Reflecting today's busy schedules and ABT's global outreach, the programmes are delivered over extended periods of time with classes and contact sessions offered at three (3) different time-slots on the allocated class days - so students have the choice to attend according to their personal preference and time zone.
